Due to a lack of 4G connectivity support in the UK, the HTC EVO has failed to make it to British shores, its success in the US, however, is fitting with its monstrous set of specs that includes a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

Speaking back in June HTC declared: "We are working hard with our partners to update the HTC Sense experience on Froyo and distribute it to our customers as fast as possible. We expect to release updates for several of our 2010 models including Desire, Legend and Wildfire beginning in Q3".
