HTC’s first Windows Phone 7 Mango handset has leaked online with the HTC Eternity reportedly set to land with a hefty 4.7-inch WVGA Super LCD display.
Running the updated rendition of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 mobile OS that is set to rollout in the autumn, the HTC Eternity looks set to take the Phone 7 platform into the high-stakes smartphone market leaking with a 1.5GHz, possibly dual-core, Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM.
Yet to be dated or priced for release, the HTC Eternity, which leaked courtesy of a German online retailer, is claimed to tout an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera dual-LED flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities and a second 1.3-megapixel forward-facing snapper.
Far from confirmed by its Taiwanese manufacturer the HTC Eternity, if the leak specs are to be believed, will launch alongside the Windows Phone 7 Mango update later this year, locking horns with Nokia’s Phone 7 offerings with 16GB of internal storage and a HDMI port.
Can the HTC Eternity bring Window’s Phone 7 to the top of the smartphone charts or will that feat be left in the hands of Nokia? Share your thoughts on the matter with us via the T3 Twitter and Facebook feeds.
