New top-end handset will be unleashed in just a few weeks.
Gagging to get hold of a HTC Desire S? Well, there’s good news this morning from online retailer Clove.co.uk, which says it’ll be flogging the new HTC flagship phone from the last week of March.
The Desire S, revealed at Mobile World Congress in February, has initially been expected to land in April, with Three saying it would have the phone up for grabs then. Amazon has pegged the blower for release on 18 April.
In an official blog post, Clove said, “We are expecting stock of the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) handset to be here in the last week of March, which is a bit earlier than initially expected.” The phone packs in a 1GHz processor, 3.7-inch touchscreen and HTC Sense.
The phone is set to cost £406.80 SIM-free, with deals from the major networks yet to be outlined. Stay tuned here and to our Facebook and Twitter pages for more as we get it.
