Desire 2 loses trackpad ahead of MWC 2011 unveiling
HTC’s Mobile World Congress 2011 unveilings are popping up by the day with the latest leak outing the mooted HTC Desire 2.
With specs of the Android run HTC Flyer tablet appearing following previous HTC tablet speculation and claims that the Taiwanese company is prepping the launch of two Facebook-branded, re-jigged Android handsets, the latest leak comes in the form of a craftily snapped picture on the subway.
The three suspiciously accurate albeit grainy images show a reported upcoming handset set to replace the dominant HTC Desire. Besides a front-facing camera and 3.5mm headphone jack, little is know on the papped device.
One obvious omission on this stunningly sleek potential Desire 2 device is the trademark trackpad that appears to have been given the boot in place of full touchscreen navigation controls.
Although the photographs have turned up with no word on expected release dates, pricing or specs, with MWC 2011 just a few short weeks away we might not have to wait too long for the HTC Desire 2 to enter the realms of reality.
