Top-end cell set to be unveiled at MWC next week.
HTC Desire 2: new pics and details outed
The HTC Desire 2 now looks like a dead cert for Mobile World Congress 2011, which kicks off in Barcelona this time next week. The new top-end Android blower has been spotted in a series of leaks, with stacks of details on what we can expect.
The sequel to the best-selling, Android-defining Desire rocks a 3.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, with Android 2.3 Gingerbread under the hood. The guys at Android Forums reckon its about 5mm smaller than the original, with a front-facing camera and a sturdier battery cover.
The pics show a phone that’s been tweaked rather than changed completely, but inside it’s said to have a lightning fast chip. Late last week, the blower showed up in Vodafone Germany's inventory lists, meaning a launch can’t be that far away.
