HTC ChaCha lands with deep Facebook integration

Vodafone has confirmed that it is to offer the HTC ChaCha from today with the Facebook centric smartphone to be made available free on contract.

Running Google’s Android 2.4 mobile operating system, Gingerbread, and sporting an 800MHz processor, the HTC ChaCha, is an entry level smartphone with deep ingrained Facebook connectivity allowing users to take photos or record video direct to the social networking site.

Free on a £26 per month two year contract that will supply those looking to snap up the ChaCha with 300 monthly minutes, unlimited texts and a 750MB data allowance, the HTC handset features a dedicated Facebook button around a full QWERTY keyboard.

The HTC ChaCha is available now from the red hued mobile network touting a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel rear mounted camera and a second 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper.
