The HTC 8X, the Taiwanese mobile maker’s first handset to feature Microsoft’s all-new Windows Phone 8 operating system, has been detailed in a leak on Twitter.

The info, released on the social network by a xda-developers forum users known as ‘Football’, includes an image of the handset and a smattering of specs. The device will apparently rock a 4.3-inch screen, with an 8 megapixel camera, NFC, Beats Audio, a dual-core processor and a front-facing snapper that is said to record video in full 1080p HD.
Word is the HTC 8X will be unleashed at a special event on 19 September. Stay tuned for all the official details as we get them.
