HP's ProBook series of laptops 'inspired by minimalism'
Business laptops for the stylish businessman who can't expense a MacBook Pro
HP's been busy in the laptop workshop, churning out a new series under the Apple-like moniker of 'ProBook'.
The ProBook series has been 'inspired by minimalism' according to HP, with a combination matte and glossy finish, and tiled keyboard. Available in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch options, the business line of laptops runs on Windows but also offers Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11, for a second operating system choice.
The 15.6-inch ProBook 4510 and 4515 models have 16:9 HD widescreens, and a choice of Intel or AMD processors. The 17.3-inch option has the ProBook 4710 model number, and includes an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 chip, Intel Core 2 Duo processor and HDMI port.
Prices start at £345 for the new ProBook series, with the availability not being announced yet we're afraid, interested business laptop consumers.
