HP has unveiled the HP ElitePad 900, a new business-focused Windows 8 tablet with a range of docks and accessories
The 10.1 inch tablet has been glimpsed a few times over the summer, but HP has been keeping pretty hush hush over what exactly is tucked away inside.
Until now that is - the beleaguered American company has revealed the Windows 8 tablet will feature an Intel Atom Clover Trail CPU with 2GB RAM and a 64GB SSD with the option for MicroSD expansion.
All of that and HP has still managed to keep it down to a 680g weight and 9.2mm thickness with a Corning Gorilla Glass display, an 8MP camera and the option for 4G connectivity.
HP has also produced some nifty accessories to expand the scope of the ElitePad for those valuable business customers.
The HP ElitePad Productivity Jacket is a case that incorporates a digital keyboard, connectivity ports and that MicroSD storage slot. Another case, the HP ElitePad Expansion Jacket contains both a USB and HDMI port as well as an extra battery.
Naturally, the HP ElitePad 900 comes with a stylus and HP has said more cases are on the way.
While we don't have any clear information on pricing yet, the rumour mill has suggested we could see the HP ElitePad arrive in January next year.
