Hand Cannon for House of the Dead might be the best Wii accessory yet

It’s a rare thing to find a Wii remote accessory worth buying, and it’s even rarer to find one that’s actually available in the UK. However, ticking both of those boxes is Sega’s House of the Dead: Overkill, which will be licensing Venom’s new Hand Cannon peripheral.

The Hand Cannon is, as the name implies, a massive pistol-shaped housing for the Wii remote. It’s based on the guns used by Agent G in the game. Sure, it’ll be top heavy and profoundly impractical, but no one ever said that to Dirty Harry and lived, did they?

Pre-orders have already started on Amazon UK for a very reasonable £12.00. But there’s more: an Australian listing reveals a special Big Bang box version of the title, which packages together the game and two Hand Cannon accessories. It’ll be good for co-op play of course, but you could get real serious with some dual-wielding action. Suck on that one, Link’s Crossbow Training.
