Halo: Reach first DCP announced for November launch
Microsoft Game Studios yesterday announced the first downloadable content packs for the recently released and hugely successful Halo: Reach title.
Named the Noble Map Pack, the DCP will bring three new environments, Tempest, Anchor 9 and Breakpoint, to the Xbox exclusive mega game that took more the $200 million in its opening 24 hours. Available via the Xbox Live Market Place the Noble Map Pack will cost keen gamers 800 Microsoft points (£10).
Set to go live on November 30th the additional environments introduced in the Halo: Reach add on are to be compatible with a number of gaming modes and will offer a variety of surroundings.
According to the Microsoft release, the first Halo: Reach DCP will create conflict: "on a galactic scale, from a frozen xeno-archaeology site harbouring centuries old secrets, to an orbital anchor defending the stars high above planet Reach and to mysterious places far, far beyond".
Gamers without an internet hookup still wanting to make use of the additional environments need fret not; Microsoft has confirmed that the new content will be available from retailers.
