GTA Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS: details leaked
Rockstar consumer survey reveals plans for Wi-Fi multiplay and hot-wiring mini-games.
Following the transition of Guitar Hero to the handheld console, the next big series to go little is Grand Theft Auto, with Chinatown Wars being released later this year on the Nintendo DS.
Until now details have been sketchier than the speed limit in Vice City, but a gamer survey from R* lifts the lid on what DSers can expect from the Daily Mail-bating small screen adaptation.
Rumours suggest that you'll be engulfed in the world of a young soldier seeking to make his mark within a gangland power struggle, with over 70 missions giving you 20+ hours of gameplay.
There'll be online and offline co-op and competitive multiplayer modes thanks to the DS's Wi-Fi connectivity which sounds pretty darn sweet.
Of course, there's a host of DS-specific stylus mini-games - one of which will see your young hoodlum construct a sniper rifle and hot-wire a car. Brutal.
