Griffin IntelliCase lands as iPad 2 SmartCover alternative
Accessory powerhouse Griffin has launched its latest protective cover for the iPad 2 with the Griffin IntelliCase taking a number of design tips from Apple’s own iPad SmartCover.
Building on Apple’s tri-fold design which boasts magnets in the case cover to automatically wake and put into sleep the market leading tablet when opened and closed respectively, the Griffin IntelliCase is crafted from polycarbonate to offer more protection and show less wear than Apple’s accessory.
Further enhancing the Apple design, Griffin’s latest iPad 2 case features two inbuilt stands with an angled clasp on the rear ensuring that the device does not slip or slump when being used as a stand.
Set to hit stores later this month the Griffin Intellicase is to be made available from Tesco stores priced £39.99, £5 more than the polyurethane Apple SmartCover.
