Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition announced
PC given cold shoulder by GTA IV: The Complete Edition
Game developer Rockstar is to re-release the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto IV game on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, for the first time including the two additional game add-ons in one ‘complete’ package.
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition, which has been marked with an October 26th release in the US by online retailer Amazon, will contain the original GTA IV game staring Niko Bellic and his arrival in Liberty City as well as the two expansion packs, the Lost and Damned and the Ballard of Gay Tony.
With a stateside price coming in at a penny under $40, Rockstar will be looking to further capitalise on the success and popularity of GTA IV that saw the game shift over 13 million units following its launch in 2008. No Complete Edition package has been announced for the PC.
Whilst an official release date and pricing for the UK has yet to be announced, developer Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition will indeed be landing on this side of the Atlantic with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
