Google has now sent its Street View team to the Amazon rainforest to allow users to travel the jungle and the river from their homes.
The team has been sent by boat and a bike with cameras, and also includes indigenous people of the area.
"Once all the images are uploaded to the internet, we can share the local culture and beauty of the Amazon with anyone, anywhere in the world," said Karin Tuxen-Bettman, who is leading the team.
The project is being carried out in partnership with the Sustainable Amazon Foundation, which hopes to raise awareness about the endangered rainforest.
