Google maps now covers London public transport

Buses, tubes, trams and DLR now included in Maps results

Never wait for the bus again.

Google has updated its maps service both on its website and on mobile devices to include public transport in its route planning around London.

Planning a journey from A to B in the capital will now see Maps offering routes for buses, trams, tubes and the Docklands Light Railway, including full breakdowns of which stops to get on and off at, and any line changes required during the journey.

Also included are arrival and departure times for individual buses and trains, putting an end to hanging around at bus stops watching the wrong bus sail by four times.
