Google Indoor Maps has now gone live in the UK with desktop users and those with Google Maps on their Android smartphone, able to see inside a number of key buildings in the UK.
Android smartphones such as the Galaxy S3 will be able to take full advantage of the feature as smartphone users will be able to look through multiple levels of the buiding while desktop functionality is limited to the main level.
It's a work in progress but Google has already mapped the major UK airports, along with London's major train stations as well as Harrods, Selfridges, The O2 Arena and Somerset House. To see the full list of buildings click here.
Google is rumoured to be in the final stages of completing its Google Maps for iOS 6 app with the company reportedly getting ready to send it to Apple for approval.
