Google doodles Sesame Street's Count Von Count

This week has seen Google Doodles featuring Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster and now Count Von Count. Who will be next?

With one day to go utnil Sesame Street’s 40th birthday, Google has unveiled another doodle on their homepage. Today, Count Von Count graces the search engine’s homepage with his presence, replacing the Google letters with numbers.

Count Von Count’s appearance follows a week of Sesame Street doodles which has featured Big Bird, Bert and Ernie and Cookie Monster. The site’s logo has also celebrated Wallace and Gromit’s 20th birthday, Michael Jackson and HG Wells in the weeks before that.

Tomorrow, the show will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a guest appearance from Michelle Obama. Previous guest stars of the show include Robert De Niro, Hillary Clinton and David Beckham.

For fans of Google’s doodles, stay tuned tomorrow as the actual anniversary of Sesame Street is sure to bring a new doodle with it.
