Sergey Brin, one of the two famous Google co-founders, told CNet this week that "Android and Chrome will likely converge over time," which would be straight-forwarded enough as both platforms are built on open source Linux.
Last week saw Google lift the lid on the Chrome OS project, with a Chromium early-build released to the public. It will be sold on Google-branded hardware built for the light-running operating system, however that won't be until the end of 2010.
