Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set some time after the previous games so in order to help us all catch up, Ubisoft have treated gamers to a live action catch up
Ghost Recon Alpha film unveiled ahead of Future Soldier release
Modern Warfare 3 latest..
Ubisoft have made a short live action film titled Ghost Recon Alpha in preparation for the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier release date. Acting as a prequel to the events in the game the film is designed to help fill in the blanks.
The film sees four of the playable characters from the game take on the usual suspect of terrorists and even features a map from the game itself, Ubisoft have also said that there will be a chance to unlock exclusive in-game content by watching the film.
With no expense spared the 23 minute short has been written by Children of Men scriptwriter Tim Sexton while the film itself was shot by Trent Opaloch the man behind District 9's distinctive style.
As if that wasn't enough Ubisoft brought on board the same weapons expert who has been an advisor on Iron Man, Thor and Transformers to make sure both the weapons and the technology used would seem plausible.
If that hasn't got you excited enough then why not check out our Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Preview and then hit up the film itself below.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has a release date of 25 May and will be available on Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and on Windows PC.
