Crytek treats gamers to Crysis 3’s Hunter Mode sneak peek
Games Reviews
Rasmus Hojengaard, director of creative development at Crytek, treated gamers to a glimpse of Hunter Mode on Crysis 3, which is confirmed for release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in February next year.
Hunter Mode, which can support up to 16 players at a time, comprises of two teams teams: CELL troopers and Hunters. The Hunters, who’re equipped with high-tech weaponry, are challenged with eliminating their prey in a set period of time - but there’s a major twist involved.
The CELL troopers are capable of respawning as Hunters once they’ve been killed, so your mission will increase with difficulty once that first set of slaying takes place. Just another day in the chaotic jungle setting of Crysis 3, then?
