With new 'S', 'super' compact AND compact models it seems Fujifilm plans to invade the market.

Fujifilm has unveiled not one but three brand new cameras for the photographic enthusiast to spend their hard earned pounds on.

S2800HD
Starting with the high end S2800HD; this camera has a stonkingly powerful 14-megapixel sensor, this is then joined by a 18x optical zoom which, quite frankly, is just showing off. If that wasn't enough it can record videos in 720p and take still images which can be viewed in 1080p. These can then either be viewed on the 3" screen or on your HD TV via the provided mini HDMI port on the camera. Finally, it also comes featuring some small but useful features such as face and smile detection (the camera only opens the shutter until it sees the subject smiling).

F300EXR
Next up is their 'Super' compact model; the F300EXR. Bridging the gap between the uber-zoom 'S' series and the compact 'Z' series this camera is the new top end of the 'F' line, hoping to squeeze in on the compact market by offering pocketability and a stupidly impressive optical zoom. It's packing a 12-megapixel sensor, which is then coupled with a 15x optical zoom that will use a brand new focusing system called 'phase detection'. The new focusing system allows the F300 to autofocus as fast as a compact but yet retain the optical zoom capabilities of a DSLR.

Z800EXR
Finally is the new Z800EXR; the new top end model from the 'Z' line of compact cameras. At only 16.9mm thick it still manages to cram in a 12-megapixel sensor and a 3.5" LCD touchscreen. Designed to be completely suited to the socially focused lives we now lead it features face detection, face recognition and 'pet' detection, which for the life of us we can't fathom, but Fujifilm claims it can recognise up to 10 cats/dogs in an image and optimise the autofocus to make sure your pets look picture perfect. But pet features aside, this compact is still a powerhouse; with 720p video recording with audio and YouTube/Facebook upload assist which will use software installed on your PC/Mac to send anything you want straight to either sites from the camera.

All these products are available now with prices averaging between £200-£300.
