Philips snips the wires with its new wireless audio streamer.

Dutch electronics leviathan Philips has just unveiled the latest addition to its Streamium range of wireless kit - and it's a beautiful piece of design.

Resplendent in silver and black and topped off with a neat blue LCD screen, the SLA5520i streams music wirelessly from your PC to your hi-fi. It's compatible with MP3, WMA and protected WMA, and also streams web radio stations. You can also access a selected range of stations without the need to connect to your PC, as the device is pre-configured to receive them.
