The Xbox exclusive racing sim Forza Motorsport 4 has debuted atop the UK All Format Gaming Chart dethroning EA Sports’ FIFA 12 title and landing ahead of fellow new entry PES 2012.
Claiming the number one position by a mere 700 sales, Forza 4 has pushed FIFA 12, which saw a 62 per cent drop in week-on-week sales, down to number two in the all format charts, three places ahead of its fierce rival PES 2012 which debuts at fifth in the chart.
Sandwiched between the two leading football titles, Just Dance 3 is a new entry at number three in the charts ahead of Bethesda’s Rage in fourth.
Gears of War 3 completes the week ending October 15th sixth in the UK gaming chart ahead of Dark Souls, Zumba Fitness and F1 2011 in positions seven through to nine respectively. As the Rugby World Cup draws to its dramatic conclusion Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge completes the week’s top ten.
