Find your own network with viewmy.tv
The new source for free global TV streams doubles-up as a novel social networking hub.
Finding it hard to catch any new TV because of that Facebook addiction? Well, viewmy.tv is the answer to your eternal quandary.
The website aims to combine social networking with an infinite wealth of free online TV streams, enabling you to then find folk who share your penchant for, say, backyard wrestling or surfing.
Some of the 1,300 channels collated within viewmy.tv include Al Jazeera, ITV, CNN and ESPN, with, we're told, many more to follow.
It's free to register and set up your own profile page where you bookmark your favourite channels from across the globe and socialise using live chat or the forums.
Unlike many streaming sites, it's compatible with Mac, through a dashboard widget. It uses RSS feeds keeping you up to date with your top channels, which you can also do through Windows Vista and Facebook.
Some of the quirkier channels include NASA where you can watch live coverage of ongoing space missions and Movee TV with non-stop round-the-clock movie trailers.

I find that site seems to be spamming everywhere. They aren't anything special, actually they're coming around doing the exact same thing as several other sites including:

I wrote a post about tv streamin gsites and low and behold the owners of viewmytv came to it and started spamming the comments about their site. Theirs two main yokels that keep coming to continously spam my blog - a user that goes by the name Sarah and another one by the name of Peter. They keep coming around and trying to spam me and I did a search and found they're going around everywhere spamming any site mentioning tv streaming.
ViewMyTV sucks. Its complete crap and all the channels are free to stream meaning they don't stream anyhting they just steal the link and put it on their site.

I have had a look at this site and I have to say that I am very impressed! It certainly lives up to the promise of having a complete verity of channels to choose from- some very quirky indeed!
It also seems very quick and having set up a profile, I am looking forward to getting involved in the social network. This is a very well-thought out site with excellent content and purpose; I recommend taking a look.
