Film4oD on demand movie service launches

Rent Independent and Hollywood films that load up in seconds

Channel 4 is set to take on LOVEFiLM with its Film4oD movie streaming service that launches with an impressive 500 titles to choose from.

Films which range in price from £0.50 to £3.99 for premium titles, allows users to watch their flick on a laptop or PC as many times as they like in the 48-hour rental period. 

FilmFlex, who has launched the Film4oD portal on behalf of Film 4, and delivers Virgin Media's on demand service, claims that the service has a bigger movie back catalogue than iTunes, LOVEFiLM and Blinkbox.

Movies now available on Film4oD include The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Film 4 funded movies Slumdog Millionaire and Four Lions. You can head to the Film4oD website now to start streaming your flicks.
