FIFA Street has helped maintain EA’s recent domination of the UK All Format Gaming Chart with the urban based football sim retaining its place atop the chart for a second consecutive week.
Retaining the gaming crown ahead of Capcom’s much maligned new entry Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, FIFA Street completed what was once again a near EA whitewash of the chart with the developer claiming four of the top five places.
With Mass Effect 3 slipping one spot to take third and the week’s final podium position, FIFA 12 has followed up its urban spin-off to spend the week in fourth ahead of EA’s winter themed sports offering SSX.
Backing up the EA take over, Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has rounded out the week ending March 24th sixth in the gaming chart ahead of new entry Kid Icarus: Uprising and Battlefield 3 in spots seven and eight respectively.
Following the start of the new Formula 1 season, Codemasters has seen last year’s F1 2011 gaming offering storm back into the charts with a P9 points finish. Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics Games completes the week’s top 10.
