FIFA Street breaks franchise records to top Gaming Chart

In its opening week on sale FIFA Street has topped the UK All Format Gaming Chart

In a positive week for EA the developer has secured its third successive chart topping gaming release as FIFA Street storms to the top

EA has dominated the UK All Format Gaming Chart for the week ending March 17th with the developer claiming the opening four spots of the game based sales chart.

Following the title’s release of Friday, FIFA Street topped the UK All Format Gaming Chart breaking the franchise sales record set out by its predecessors. Following the urban football sim into second spot, last week’s chart topped Mass Effect 3 landed ahead of EA’s flagship snowboard offering, SSX.

FIFA 12 landed in fourth position to complete EA’s dominate gaming offering with the world’s most loved plumber featuring in the next two chart entries as Mario Party 9 and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games finished the week in fifth and sixth spots respectively.

Bethesda’s Rage followed Mario in to take seventh position ahead of the resurgent Zumba Fitness in eighth. Assassin’s Creed Revelation and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 rounded out the week’s top ten in positions nine and ten respectively.
