FIFA 12 is on a double hat trick this week having secured top spot in the UK’s All Format Gaming Chart for a fifth consecutive week.
EA Sports’ pioneering football sim has waved off all other competitors for a fifth consecutive week, beating the likes of Just Dance 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to claim the week’s highest gaming honour and continue its run as 2012’s highest selling game.
Ubisoft’s dance moves have flagged in the past seven days passing up second spot to Skyrim but maintaining on the podium once again thanks to Just Dance 3.
The skirmish between fourth and fifth place continues to rage between the FPS giants Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 with Activision’s flagship brand narrowly reclaiming its spot at number four.
Flying up the charts by eight places this week is Ubisoft’s platformer Rayman: Origins at number nine and Irish whipping itself up an impressive thirteen places to number eighteen is THQ’s WWE 12.
Zumba Fitness has once again managed to outsell its successor sixth spot in the chart ahead of Saints Row: The Third in seventh and Zumba Fitness 2 in eighth. ID Software’s Rage completes the top ten for the week ending January 21st.
