FIFA vs. Pro Evo: The battle continues
FIFA 11 and PES 2011 demos available for download
The two leaders in football themed video games, EA Sports and Konami both launched the free demos of their upcoming titles FIFA 11 and PES 2011 respectively yesterday ahead of both games officially launching in the opening week of October.
FIFA 11, which can now be demoed in two playable 3-minute halves as either Chelsea or Barcelona at the Bernabeu, just one of a selection of preassembled matches, is available to sample on the Xbox 360, PS3 via the console’s respective online services or as a PC title by visiting www.fifa.easports.com.

Included in the demo of FIFA 11 is a selection of the title’s new game play additions including the Personality+ feature that attributes individual skill sets to different players and Pro Passing for user ability determined accuracy.
Like FIFA 11 the upcoming Pro Evolution title is now available as a playable demo downloadable from Xbox Live, the PlayStation Store and as a PC edition via www.knoami-pes2011.com. In the PES 2011 demo gamers can play as either Barcelona or Bayern Munich in a European outing.
With FIFA 11 due to launch for the main consoles on October 1st to be followed a week later on October 8th by PES 2011, this mutual availability of downloadable content is just the first kick in what is set to be another fierce battler for the football title supremacy.
