Pro Evo might be landing ahead of FIFA this year. But EA’s European boss Jens Uwe Intat isn’t fussed, saying he thinks the official title will see off any challenge from PES.

"FIFA has been over the last couple of years on an excellent path and we continue to grow market share against Konami," Intat told MCV. Warming to his theme he said, “Our games just get better and better - we have a clearly superior product to Konami, which I think wasn't the case in the previous generation.”

That was certainly the case last year, when FIFA turned the screw on PES and even won over hacks who have previously banked on Konami’s effort to deliver.
