Facebook's social networking iOS 4 move

Social networking behemoth, Facebook has become the latest to join the multi-tasking compatible iOS 4 party on the iPhone having launched a free update for the new mobile operating system from Apple.

Offering no ground breaking additions or updates to the already hugely successful app, the iOS 4 compatible update simply includes a new, high resolution icon and fast app switching functionality made possible by the multi-tasking touting OS.

Joining a couple of minor bug fixes, on the latest edition of the Facebook app for iPhone and iPod touch devices, will be the support for Korean and Russian localisation, great news for our hoards of readers in these two, notably liberal and social network adopting nations.
