F1 2011 to feature improved multiplayer options
F1 2011 screenshots unveiled ahead of gaming release
Codemasters has unveiled the first official screenshots for the upcoming F1 2011 release as the gaming developer looks to emulate the success of last year’s BAFTA winning Formula 1 title.
Set to feature all 24 official drivers, 12 teams and 19 race circuits from the 2011 Formula 1 season, F1 2011 will land as a comprehensive and realistic racing sim aimed at fans of the pinnacle of motorsport racing.
Utilising Codemasters’ EGO platform, F1 2011 will build on last year’s title with improved multiplayer experiences that is set to include co-op Championships and a spilt-screen two player mode. Online multiplayer features will see up to 16 gamers battle it out in head-to-head Grand Prix mode.
Continuing to follow the technological breakthroughs in the sport, F1 2011 will allow gamers to utilise the full array of performance enhancing features at the disposal of the real drivers with DRS and KERS both landing in this year's gaming release.
Set to launch on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as a PC title and in handheld form for the Nintendo 3DS and newly announced PlayStation Vita, Codemasters will begin rolling out F1 2011 across platforms from September 24th.
