The news was posted on Twitter, as the network provider told its followers: "Sorry folks - there's been a date change for our SIM-only plans. We expect to bring them in the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned for the new date."
The original launch date of the super-speedy plans was today (November 9) and T3's sister site TechRadar spoke to EE about the delay.
"The launch of SIM only plans (due Nov 9) will be delayed by a few days as a result of our comprehensive testing process over-running slightly," said a spokesperson for the network.
The pricing structure for SIM-only plans hasn't been entirely revealed yet but we expect to see unlimited calls and texts from plans starting at £21 per month.
