THQ will release a new South Park title – voiced by the series’ Trey Parker and Matt Stone – next year on Xbox 60, PS3 and PC
E3 2012: South Park: The Stick of Truth set for 2013 release
The long running and ever popular adult cartoon South Park will get a new video game outing with South Park: The Stick of Truth, due to be released by THQ on March 5th 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
It will be voiced by the series’ creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and will feature long running characters Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, as well as other reoccurring characters.
Players take control of a character on a quest to ‘be cool’, and can utilise various magic weaponry and armour.
“Arm yourself with weapons of legend to defeat crabpeople, underpants gnomes, hippies and other forces of evil,” reads the announcement. “Discover the lost Stick of Truth and earn your place at the side of Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny as their new friend.
"Succeed, and you shall be South Park’s savior, cementing your social status in South Park Elementary. Fail, and you will forever be known… as a loser.”
