E3 2012: Lego City: Undercover will be exclusive to Wii U

New open world, GTA-type Lego game will be exclusively for Nintendo’s next generation, duel screen Wii U console

Warner Brothers has unveiled an open world Lego game at E3, which looks not dissimilar from a GTA title, and will be available exclusively on Nintendo’s next gen Wii U console.

Players solve crimes around Lego City, and will use the GamePad to navigate an interactive landscape.

Over 100 vehicles, such as aircraft, cars and motorbikes, will be able to be picked up during the game, though we presume the child friendly Lego franchise will place less emphasis on violent car jacking than Grand Theft Auto.

Travellers Tales, who have developed all the popular Lego video games so far, have again been drafted for this title.
