Duke Nukem Forever beats LA Noire to top gaming charts after 15 year delay
Duke Nukem Forever tops UK All Format gaming charts
Duke Nukem Forever has stomped its way to the top of the UK All Format Video Game Chart more than 14 years after it was first announced.
Having hit stores on Friday following a near 15 year delay, Duke Nukem Forever went straight to the top of the gaming charts pushing Rockstar’s LA Noire down to the number two spot with the dance fitness craze Zumba Fitness rounding out the top three.
Recording 56 per cent of its sales for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console, Duke Nukem Forever also recorded strong sales for both the PS3 and PC platforms with the two mediums accounting for 30 and 14 per cent of total sales respectively.
Infamous 2 and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean ended the week fourth and fifth in the UK All Format Gaming Charts respectively with DiRT 3 in sixth and Brink in seventh. Red Faction: Armageddon, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Portal 2 completed the top 10.
