Dual-core HTC Pyramid leaks ahead of MWC 2011 unveiling
Details of HTC’s first dual-core smartphone have leaked just days ahead of its expected unveiling at Mobile World Congress 2011.
Reportedly dubbed the HTC Pyramid, the mooted device is claimed by the folks at Android And Me to be preparing to launch touting the latest Google mobile OS release Android 2.3, Gingerbread, alongside a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor.
Other ousted specs will apparently see the mystery device feature a 4.3-inch display with an expected 860 x 540p resolution.
Although yet to be officially confirmed by the Taiwanese smartphone giant responsible for the likes of the HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire, the Pyramid is claimed to be heading for a May release in the US tied to the T-Mobile network. Information on expected pricing has yet to be revealed.
