DiRT 3, Codemaster's upcoming game, will have an online pass that allows users to play with Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

The code also allows users to unlock five new vehicles.

This pass is named the VIP Pass, and will be available in all new retail copies of DiRT 3. This is being done with an aim to reduce second-hand sales of the game, as used games will not have the pass, and will have to pay extra to use these features.

Among the five vehicles that the code will unlock include the McRae M4, Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 and Hummer H3.
