Deus Ex beats Driver to UK Gaming Chart top spot

Deus Ex retains gaming crown as Zumba drops

Following the Driver: San Francisco release Deus Ex has retained its position as the UK's top selling title of the past seven days

Having toppled dance-based Zumba Fitness last week, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has topped the UK All Format Gaming charts for a second week holding off competition from the new Driver title.

Landing as the week’s highest new entry Driver: San Francisco secured second spot in the gaming charts ahead of the resilient former chart topper Zumba Fitness. Rugby World Cup 2011 took fourth spot ahead of the start of the tournament this week with LEGO Pirate of the Caribbean in fifth.

With the start of the new American Football season on the horizon EA Sports’ Madden NFL 12 was the week’s second highest entry touching down in sixth with Call of Duty: Black Ops and Cars 2 in seventh and eighth respectively.

Despite the FIFA 12 release date being less than a month away, FIFA 11 ended the past seven days ninth in the UK All Format gaming charts with The Sims 3 rounding out the top 10. The only other new entry to make the top 40 this week was Bodycount way down in 36th spot.
