Cyber Monday could see one tablet sold every two seconds according to Currys & PC World who have predicted huge sales of tablets like the iPad Mini and the Nexus 7 come the 3rd December.
Data from Currys & PC World show 80 per cent of customers now use the internet as part of their shopping and the UK’s largest electrical retailer is expecting an online rush.
In preparation for what is expected to be the busiest online shopping day, the sites distribution centre has stocked up on over 12,000 products ready for Christmas delivery.
Ben Lovett, Currys & PC World spokesperson, commented, “We’re expecting December to be an exceptionally busy month as gadgets and cutting edge tech tops Christmas wishlists.”
Other products expected to do well this coming Cyber Monday are Beats headphones, the new Samsung Chromebook, digital SLR cameras and e-Readers such as the Kindle Fire HD and Nook.
