Crystal-encrusted Samsung Galaxy Tab lands at Harrods

Blinged up Galaxy Tab hits famous department store

Crystal Galaxy Tab targets garish Christmas top spot

Iconic London department store Harrods has officially unveiled a special edition crystal-encrusted Samsung Galaxy Tab available to shoppers in the run up to Christmas for a hefty £2,699.

The heavily bedazzled Samsung Tablet will feature the same 7-inch TFT-LCD display, 1GHz processor and Google Android 2.2 operating system as the standard Galaxy Tab just with a shroud of 5,700 Swarovski Bright Crystals painstakingly applied by hand.

Unveiled at a customer event last night and looking like the arts and crafts project of a royal family minor, the blinged up 7-inch tablet still hosts all the same techy innards and credentials as its plastic-backed original and is available exclusively from Micro Anvika at Harrods.

“The crystalisation technique used has been honed to absolute perfection, with outstanding quality of workmanship which ensures every crystal is precisely positioned in its own perfect space. The Galaxy Tab logo is also elegantly recreated in Jet Hematite, producing a unique design that can be customised to individual taste.” read the crystal-clad Tab’s official release.

If this garish pocket tablet doesn’t stand out enough for your liking, the release for the crystal-encrusted Samsung Galaxy Tab proudly declared: “Custom designs can be commissioned through Micro Anvika at Harrods.”
