Crysis 2 will be up for grabs on 25 March 2011. That’s according to the game’s official Twitter page, which says the title will land here in the UK three days after gamers across the pond get a slice of the action.

The headline-grabbing sequel was originally lined up for late 2010, but as delayed by EA with no explanation. At least now we know when we can barricade the doors, book a week off work and get down to strafing some aliens.

The game is set in New York and is set to rock up in 3D on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as on PC for more hardcore gaming fanatics.
