Activision has revealed that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Terminal release will see the airport-based map land for free from July 17th
Guaranteed to cause a ripple of complaints amongst game hating killjoys, Activision has confirmed it is to bring its classic Modern Warfare 2 airport-based multiplayer map ‘terminal’ to an upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC release.
Based in, as the name suggests, an airport terminal, Activision has confirmed the fan favourite COD multiplayer map is to be introduced to its most recently released first-person shooter later this month, landing with the company’s trademark period of exclusivity for Xbox 360 gamers.
Set to launch for Xbox 360 gamers on July 17th, the Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map will be free to download with Call of Duty Elite subscribers able to access the post release offering a day ahead of the July 18th general rollout.
Activision has yet to offer any details around a PC or Sony PS3 Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map release. Despite this, given the company’s past DLC releases, it is expected PS3 gamers will get the latest content offering in early August with PC format lovers to follow.
