Offering an insight in the making of the next-generation COD offering, Treyarch’s key personnel and the masterminds behind the Black Ops follow-on have released a new Black Ops 2 trailer discussing the epic title’s similarities with a Hollywood blockbuster.
“In the case of Black Ops, I would argue that the story is better than most movies that are being made,” said David S. Goyer, writer of Activision’s latest Call of Duty offering. He added: “Even though it’s a first-person shooter, it’s got to be sophisticated, it’s got to be funny, it’s got to be challenging and it’s got to have twists and turns.”
Confirmed as heading to the standard platforms, an Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and PC Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 UK release date has been set for November 13th with retailers once again expected to enter fierce pricing battles and swing open their doors at midnight to welcome eager gamers keen to get their mitts of the 2010 Black Ops follow-on.
