Canon launches LEGRIA HF S10 and HF S100

Twin HD cameras keep things mobile

Claiming to be the ‘best-ever’ Canon HD camcorder, with its 8.0 Megapixel Full HD CMOS sensor, the Canon LEGRIA HF S10 and LEGRIA HF S100 are certainly handy.

The Canon HD Video Lens (with a 58mm filter diameter) has 10x optical zoom and Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer. A digital tele-converter allows Full HD recording at up to 17x zoom - which in a nutshell - enables you to take premium quality Hi-Def images whether your capturing precious moments or ‘sweding’ your favourite movies Be Kind Rewind style.

With Dual Flash Memory the LEGRIA HF S10 shoots to 32GB of internal flash memory, which can be expanded. The HF S100 records only to memory cards.

And because of Canon’s trusty Face Detection Technology – which allows you to locate up to 35 faces in every single frame – you’ll be sure that even the ugliest ducklings look their best.

Both models drop today but prices have yet to be confirmed.
