With official world from Activision on the next Call of Duty gaming release expected within the coming weeks new reports have suggested the eagerly awaited title will launch around the world on November 8th.
The reports, which suggest the mooted Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release will follow the early November arrival and last year’s Black Ops title, claim developer Infinity Ward has teamed up with
Activision studio Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software to produce the next instalment to the hugely successful gaming franchise.
Further leaks on the upcoming Call of Duty addition suggest the Modern Warfare 3 release will feature large-scale destructible environments, moving away from the game’s currently linear format. The more expansive storyline for the upcoming release is claimed to follow directly on from the climax of Modern Warfare 2, set in an urban environment “with military vehicles, including tanks, rolling through suburban streets.”
Speculation around the release date of what will arguably be the gaming industry’s biggest release of the year is rife with an internal Tesco database leak also suggesting that Modern Warfare 3, codenamed ‘Call of Duty: Project Collossus’ will be released on November 8th.
