Call of Duty fans, get ready to be very excited, rumours are rife that the next instalment of the megahit gaming franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be announced by Activision later this month, and possibly within the next week.
The speculation comes following comments made by Craig Fairbrass, voice of Modern Warfare 2's character 'Ghost', during an interview with TalkSport.
When asked about his Call of Duty work, Craig said: "I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the most iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great."
"I've just been out in LA doing something that's going to be announced in May... I've just been out there doing some bits and pieces and one of it's to do with... I can't say too much."
Previously, internet forum boards have speculated that Modern Warfare 3 will take the shape of a prequel, also starring Fairbrass's popular character 'Ghost'.
