Despite gearing up to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release date Activision has unveiled the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC with Rezurrection to land later this month as a zombie only content addition.

Adding five Zombie maps to the globally successful first person shooter the Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection DLC will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 23rd ahead of PS3 and PC releases later in the year.

Set to be priced at 1,200 Microsoft Points the Rezurrection DLC’s five maps will include just one all new level with four Zombie levels being redrafted from previous COD releases.

"Four are remastered and upgraded versions of the World at War Zombies maps that started it all - Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese," a spokesperson for Activision said on the upcoming DLC levels.

They added: "If you were introduced to Zombies gameplay with Black Ops, these are the historical maps that will fill in some of the backstory for you - and in addition to updated weapons and polish, they each still have their own surprises to offer."

The one completely new level will still offer some surprises, however, with the ‘Moon’ map based where its name suggests as Activision announces “the rules of engagement will apparently be changing.”
