Call of Duty: Black Ops has the greatest game ending of all time, or at least that's according to Guinness World of Records who had 13,000 people vote in deciding which game would get the crown.
Beating not only the other Call of Duty titles but also a wealth of game-based storytelling the title won the most votes with its twist-filled finale keeping gamers on the edge of their seats.
Five best game endings of all time:
1. Call of Duty: Black Ops
2. Halo: Reach
3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
5. God of War
Other notable entries include the critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar, while the entire Assassin's Creed anthology made it into the top 50.
It wasn't just the big hollywood style hits that got recognition as well, Portal was crowned in the top 10 at number seven while the second game made it as well at number 17.
With some big name titles coming out this year including Bioshock Infinite and Far Cry 3 2012 will surely be able to add some more titles next years list.
